By signing up for Setu SMS you agree to these terms. Setu SMS is operated by Mantilam Pty Ltd (ABN to be registered), an Australian company. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
Setu SMS is a cloud-based school management platform. We provide tools for student management, attendance, class scheduling, fee management, and communications. The service is provided on a subscription basis.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during sign-up. You must not share your credentials with third parties. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Paid plans are billed monthly in Australian dollars. Your 14-day free trial begins on signup. After the trial, you must provide payment details to continue. We use Stripe for payment processing. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Setu SMS — student records, class schedules, fee data, and all other information. We act as a data processor on your behalf. We do not sell your data or use it for any purpose other than providing the service.
All data is stored in AWS ap-southeast-2 (Sydney, Australia). Backups are performed daily on paid plans. We use Supabase as our database provider, subject to their terms and privacy policy.
You may only use Setu SMS for lawful purposes related to managing educational institutions. You must not use the service to send spam, collect data without consent, or violate any applicable laws including the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. We are not liable for data loss or service interruptions beyond our control.
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days notice. Upon termination you may export your data. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination before permanent deletion. You can request immediate deletion by contacting us.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Mantilam Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Setu SMS.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
